North Side Happy Lobster — Restaurant in North Caye Caulker

Omg. This place has amazing food that is worth every penny that you spend! There is tons of seating available and lots of open space. They brought us a citronella candle to help with the sand fleas which was nice.

I ordered the fried snapper and loved it. It was sooooooo tasty and the cream sauce that it comes with paired so well. I finished everything on my plate including the coconut rice.

My boyfriend ordered the porkchops which were really good too. I liked how they asked him how he wanted his meat cooked (we said medium and it was perfect). Again, the sauce that came with the porkchops was so good. If we come back I'll definitely get the porkchops for myself!

We had two different servers who were super nice and helpful. The chef Moses also took the time to come to our table to introduce himself and get our thoughts on the food. Such great service and food here, I highly recommend...

Recently stayed on the northside of Caye Caulker for a week and enjoyed the Happy Lobster so much we ate there for at least one meal everyday they were open. At home I work as a server in a James Beard winning restaurant, so quite familiar with the industry and I can't say enough nice things about the folks at the Northside Happy Lobster! Excellent service from everyone, but Jenny in particular was one of the most friendly people I met on the whole trip to Belize, making us feel like regulars and providing suggestions for our visit. Cute restaurant, neat and clean, very friendly team, chef came and spoke to us personally. He is a local celebrity! Get the seafood ceviche. The food was fresh, expertly prepared, presentation was gorgeous. The bar is beautiful, music was great; The drinks were served in really nice crystal.
