Bella Vista Bar & Grill — Restaurant in undefined

Okay where do I start ....hummm seeing all these wonderful reviews online I told myself that I had to try this restaurant. I made reservations online and I got an automated response saying that they would confirm my reservation... I didn't receive the confirmation but nevertheless I still went for the time I had reserved. We walked in and there was nobody at the reservations desk we started looking around for a little bit and then someone came out, I told him that I made reservations for a table of two he went and checked and he found my name he said he we could come along. It's a very nice restaurant I must say nice scenery and all. He asked where we'd like to sit and we said on the outside we overlooked the golf course and a sunset on the sea it was beautiful. Everything was okay up until we got our entree which was the Grand Churrasco platter for two persons. I had ordered it medium and it came out well done. I figured something was wrong because two tables that came after us like an hour after got all their courses before we got our main course I was so disappointed... the last comment the waiter came and said to us regarding the meal was that they are garnishing your platter Ser. To my surprise when it came out I was so loss for words I could just look at the entire dish and tell that it was overcooked and the garnish was so tacky and distasteful, few pieces of mixed greens on top of the dish the platter had two pieces of polenta that was very off-putting and tasted slightly spoiled... I pretty much just had the appetizer which was a caesar salad and the dessert a tiramisu which was on the house... All in all I would say there's always room for...

Visited here to eat as an end of year team lunch. They had another event going on, so we were seated on the side, with stacked up chairs and the condiment carts in our area. The ambience was NOT optimal. We ordered. Those who ordered pizzas got them with no issue, but the steak sandwich order with fries came out lukewarm. My order hadn't arrived. I ordered the better then meat chicken with a salad and a chilli sauce. I received my order and it was the chicken stripes with fries. Presentation- 0. When I asked the waiter about the absence of the salad and chilli sauce and the presence of the fries which I didn't order, I was told that's how it came and it didn't come with a salad. I asked him to pass me a menu and I kindly pointed to what I had ordered, the vege chicken with the salad and sauce. He apologized and then returned with the proper order. Was i disappointed? Certainly so. The area they had us sitting in was not appealing, the lukewarm food and then my misconstrued order really did not contribute to the "special vibe " one seeks when they decide to treat themselves with an end of year lunch out. We had $10 taken off of our ticket, but I was not pleased with this place. I have only ever written one bad report of a restaurant, I wish I could give it raving reviews, but I can't. I don't think I'll be visiting this place again. Many have written hiw it is a hidden place, maybe it needs to stay hidden. Not...

My wife and I were in Bermuda last week for our 20th wedding anniversary. We were travelling around the Southern shores (via scooter/moped) at about dinner time/sunset when we noticed a sign for the Bella Vista Bar & Grill so we decided to try it. Fortunately we met manager Arjun Kaushal when we arrived and he took great care of of, taking us to the best table from which to view the sunset, telling us about the history of the area, and even introducing us to Chef Livio! The food and wait staff were also very friendly and professional. The elegance of the facility and the scenic views cannot be beat! We had the best meal of the trip and one of the best ever!
