Casa de Campo — Restaurant in Kanata

Bluntly speaking. I was there with friends... We asked our server for a round of Beers And he said: "We Are closing soon." It was 11:25PM--- I asked him: "Okay... But You guys close When?" He said: "Soon". I was a bit confused.... Anyways..... My other Friend told the server: "Fine. Just Bring us the check" (for the consumed Food) the server did however my friend paid until we left. ------ To Make the story short.... EVERYONE around us kept on Drinking. We kept on playing 'Cacho' without drinks - we were there until 1AM. This guy for whatever reason had LIED to us... I believe he wanted to leave early because he kept on giving us pissed looks since we weren't going anywhere. We left around 1AM and it looked like nobody else (about 10 other packed tables) was going anywhere. Ha! Joke on you.... We then got drinks at the Karaoke accross from them. He could had gotten a better...

I really enjoyed this place, great portion sizes, great flavor and good prices. It’s located in a very nice area too.

Downstairs section looks really nice, we thought it be nicer upstairs but doesn’t appear that many go upstairs during the evening. Once it got dark it was hard to see since they don’t have very good lighting on the roof/terrace.

Note that there are sections that people can smoke, so if that’s a problem you may want to eat in the enclosed sections of the restaurant.

They also change your dollars at a pretty good rate, they changed it at 6.96, just make sure that they are...

Highly recommend, the service was good , not friendly for wheelchair though.

The prices are high but all we order was very tasty

Pique lobo was good , a lot of meet , a bit hard to chew though

Picante de lengua , súper soft and tasty , a bit heavy but not much spicy, and very juicy , tender , melted in my mount

Silpancho : was huge , good for 2 person , the meet was tender and the potato very crunchy

The beef had cheese melted in the middle , not remember the name of the plate but overall was the tastiest, soft and with a lot of flavor
