Bull & Bush has been my favorite spot for the past 14 years, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The place carries a unique rustic charm that captures the beauty of Africa in its calm and relaxed setting. It’s the kind of environment that immediately puts you at ease, making it not just a restaurant but an experience.

The highlight for me has always been the tomahawk steak. Over the years, the portion size has reduced somewhat, but the flavor and quality have never been compromised. It is consistently cooked to perfection, and that alone keeps me coming back. Beyond the tomahawk, every dish I’ve tried here has been excellent — the kitchen clearly maintains a high standard across the board.

I also enjoy the added touches of entertainment. On one of my recent Thursday visits, I had the chance to play some pool games. It was quiet, laid-back, and filled with a good crowd — a reminder that Bull & Bush is more than just a place to eat, it’s a place to unwind.

The only drawback is the road leading to the restaurant. You really need a decent elevated car to get there comfortably. If you’re driving a luxury sedan, especially on a rainy day, you might regret the trip. But once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it.

The Restaurant has been for a couple of years now and is still one of the best in Gaborone. We try to have one nice dinner every time we visit the area and for the past number of years the restaurant has been our Go to Place. They variety of food and great services as well as the atmosphere of the place you can see and feel as you enter the place. Your meat is cooked at a grill station and as it comes out you can smell the aroma in the air, making your taste buds excited. I enjoy their burger variety especially, the mushroom burger it has a ton of sauce and a generous portion of real bacon bits. The steaks are cooked to perfection and almost melt in your mouth. The added sauces have a sweet flavor but all you need is only a squeeze of lemon on it, no butter needed. Add the wonderful flavored mushrooms and you meal it complete. We never have room for desert. This place is well worth the trip, day or night youll have a great time.

Decent not great, food was quite average, management needs to really look into their staff, went there last night and the place wasn't even busy but our waiter was nowhere to be seen, took her like 30 minutes to bring me a beer, another hour for our food, I asked for a can of coke after she brought my food, That didn't arrive only after she came to check on us after our food was finished did she ask if everything is ok, I asked what about my coke and she was completely clueless, honestly most pathetic service I've received on a night out, the venue itself is great and a great atmosphere but to employ staff like that will certainly drag the...
