Simply the best restaurant in Arraial d'Ajuda in my opinion and a different level from everything else!!! Visited Nomades with my wife April 2024 and to cut a long story... it was simply excellent. It serves a European / Baiano fusion which is genuinely interesting and exciting. While some of the dishes may prove challenging to the Brazilian palate, for this gringo, the great use of seasoning i.e. black pepper (underused in my opinion in Brazilian cuisine) and balancing of flavour combinations led to an amazing and unexpected dining experience. The excellent food was enhanced by the cheerful, informative service and the decor (recently renovated) all adding to the ambience. I suggested we should return tomorrow. Thoroughly recommend. Eu nunca havia feito uma avaliação de um estabelecimento aqui no Brasil, estou morando na Alemanha há 12 anos junto ao meu namorado, do qual é chef por lá, então decidi escrever sobre o Nomades. (Será um review mesmo, rs. Merece muito) Há primeira vista casa imponente, bem decorada e intimista, logo nos levou a decisão de ter a nossa primeira noite de jantar em Arraial. Sentados a mesa fomos recebidos pelo o Vini, assim apresentado. Logo, disse ao mesmo que não estavamos como muita fome pois havíamos almoçado tarde e queríamos algo leve, também devido ao calor. O garçom de pronto nos sugeriu uma experiência e propôs um menu completo, como ele disse, uma experiência. Confiamos! Montou para nós então, 2 entradas, sendo: Um crudo de atum (SENSACIONAL) e um crudo de peixe branco (acredito eu que seja com Nam Jim) e de principal uma Salada de pêssego e parma (muito bem servida) compartilhamos. Genteeee, foi exatamente o que queríamos ter para aquela noite! Feeling impressionante de conhecer o que é bom e sugerir com confiança! Nobre! Obrigadaa! Mostram que estão prepados e disposto a fazer ao melhor ao cliente. Tanto que, no dia seguinte (segunda-feira) voltamos para comer novamente o atum e experimentar os principais que o garçom já havia nos vendido há ideia de comer muito bem, Filé au poivre e um Risoto funghi, excelentes também! Pedimos uma sugestão de entrada diferente dessa vez para completar o atum, e foi mais uma vez surpreendente, um canapé (vegetariano) do qual só ele para explicar como é preparado, adianto explosão de sabor e "finésse". Não vim com a ideia de comer tão bem logo em Arraial, (e sim em SP). Com tamanho serviço de qualidade, me surpreendeu e quis dedicar meu tempo a isso, sou propetaria de um restaurante, sei como é difícil e precisamos dar créditos quando merecido.
