We visited Piquia on a Saturday night and were greeted by the friendly staff and the lively music that filled the air. The restaurant has a rustic and charming decor, with wooden tables and chairs, colorful cushions and lanterns, and a large bar. The outdoor seating area overlooks the beginning of the Quadrado, where you can watch the locals and tourists mingle and dance under the gentle light of the full moon and the bright stars.

We ordered two steaks: a sirloin and a filet mignon, both cooked to perfection and served with roasted potatoes and rice. The steaks were tender and juicy, and each came with a different sauce: a creamy mushroom sauce for the sirloin and a spicy pepper sauce for the filet mignon. The sauces added a lot of flavor and complemented the meat well. The portions were generous and satisfying, and we enjoyed every bite.

To accompany our meal, we chose a local beer from the extensive menu of drinks. The beer was cold and refreshing, and went well with the steak.

The service was attentive and courteous throughout our dinner. The staff was always ready to refill our glasses, bring us more bread, or offer us some recommendations. They also checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy with our food and our experience.

Meu restaurante favorito em Trancoso !simples, verdadeiro e impecável Passei 7 dias em Trancoso e, sinceramente, nenhuma experiência gastronômica superou a que tive nesse restaurante que, pra mim, é o melhor de todos na região. Diferente da maioria, ele não aposta em decorações exageradas com luzinhas por todo lado. É simples, direto e cheio de personalidade. O destaque está onde realmente importa: na comida, no atendimento e no ambiente acolhedor. A moqueca? Dos deuses. Daquelas que a gente lembra com saudade. O chopp na caneca zero grau faz toda a diferença no calor baiano. E a música ao vivo, na medida certa, completa a experiência com charme e alegria. O atendimento é impecável. A equipe te recebe com simpatia genuína e te faz sentir em casa. A sensação é de estar entre amigos , e isso, hoje em dia, é raro. Nos dois primeiros dias, ainda tentei conhecer outros lugares, mas só tive decepção. Depois disso, não tive dúvidas: almocei e jantei ali pelos cinco dias seguintes. Era a garantia de comida boa, ambiente agradável e uma experiência que realmente vale a pena.

Trancoso tem seu charme, mas esse restaurante foi, sem dúvida, o meu lugar...

Primeira noite em Trancoso e tive péssima impressão a ponto de desistir de jantar neste local. Eu e minha esposa, aguardando um casal de amigos para jantar nesse restaurante, tivemos a infelicidade (ou seria sorte ?) de pedirmos de entrada uma porção de bolinho de bacalhau, RS 72,00 oito bolinhos que segundo o péssimo garçom eram de um tamanho razoável. Mentira, os bolinhos , que saiam a Rs 9,00 cada um eram bem pequenos, não chegavam a metade de uma caixa de fósforo e das pequenas. Agora, isso não foi o problema, o pior foi notar que bacalhau passou longe nesse bolinho, só uns fiapos e tome batata. O VERDADEIRO BATATALHAU e bota batata nisso. O casal de amigos chegou, iríamos pedir duas moquecas de Badejo a RS 250 cada uma, pensamos bem e desistimos, estava arriscado a vir na moqueca qualquer outro peixe do que badejo. Não recomendo. Preço abusivo, atendimento ruim, pratos...
