I am always very sorry when I find myself "forced" to leave a bad review, and this is the case. The dinner was very pleasant, the place is beautiful and the food real great. But in the end, a terrible surprise came. The total should have been 112 reais per person but we were presented with a bill of 187 reais per person. My friends and I initially paid it because we were distracted by our conversation but when we noticed we asked for explanations. It was really bad because we felt scammed, also because we are 4 young foreign girls. The excuse used by the owner was really embarrassing, she told us that she made a “mistake" because we were the only customers in the restaurant and so she had not been very focused. Also, while we were discussing I started to read old reviews of the place noting that the same thing had already happened to other people, and they told us that those people were "hater". Mmm, very strange, so I am a hater too simply because I’m telling the truth and I wouldn’t want someone else to be in my same situation? In any case I have all the evidence. In the end we were refunded in cash but without any discount. This was also very sad because if the story had happened in any other place, the owner would have offered to make a discount to remedy the huge mistake. Instead we had to pay the service fee! This gives a very bad picture of how the customer is treated here, I’m sorry. To conclude it was really a terrible experience. We felt scammed and we did not see any displeasure or attempt to make amends on the other side. WARNING: Never again! They tried to charge us double. My group of four people was charged double, and we only realized it after we had paid. When we confronted the staff, they acted surprised but didn’t seem like it was the first time this had happened. Later, when we checked the reviews, we found out that other guests had also been victims of this scam. When we brought this up with the staff, they said it was just a "mistake" and that it was an error. I've never encountered a restaurant that accidentally charges four people double. Since we were the only customers in the restaurant, their excuse for the "mistake" was that they were too bored/unfocused and that this wouldn't happen if it was busier. Bombom made my Whole experience (she is the social chef) with 2 more chefs in the kitchen. ..

She surprised me with 2 starters - one was the 6 dumplings with good texture of dumpling skin (I was surprised as that was handmade and close to China handmade dumpling skin.. theirs also handmade) and flavours were delightful (contrasting flavours) and the other was crab meat with plantains. I had the lamb masamam, which was the best and even after take out ..

I’m from South East Asia and very pleasantly surprised how great their Thai flavours were here .. this is inline with Bangkok standards

Atmosphere is very cute .. a mixture of Thailand, Japan and Bali all in one place but tastefully put together with dim romantic lamps
