First of all the oysters are great! Very fresh and full of flavour with some interesting tasting options…..Now to the bad.
I really wanted to like this place, I even came twice to give it the benefit of the doubt. The first time I came it was very busy and we had to wait around 30-40 minutes, which isn’t a problem for a well renowned restaurant. I want to get this out of the way, the wine is WAY over priced, it is absolutely not worth it. However, I think this is where the restaurant make a big profit as both times I rejected ordering the wine the waiting staff reacted very poorly and treated me as if I was destitute. We even tried to order Aperol spritz and other types of drinks but they didn’t have these as options, which I think is a little bit ridiculous.
We ordered around 18 oysters to start in a variety of flavours, all were very nice and fresh, can’t fault that. We then ordered a main meal of a variety of shellfish and flavoured rice. For the price this was a very big let down, at over R$250 for the dish it was lacking in any flavour and also any real quantity of seafood. Which after living in Floripa for 3 years is shocking.
After the first experience we decided to go back and try just having the oysters, as that is what we enjoyed last time. On the second trip we ordered 36 oysters and again were treated like destitute when we didn’t select the wine. We were also looked down upon when we said we weren’t going to be ordering any main meals. For an oyster restaurant I would expect to get clients who, shock horror, want to eat the oysters and nothing else.
To summarise, only go there to eat the oysters and avoid everything else. If they just had an oyster restaurant this would be a 5...

I can’t even begin to express how much I love this place soooo much. The oysters are absolutely phenomenal — both the natural/fresh ones and the ones with toppings. Cooked perfectly. We also ordered some octopus, fish, and my favorite moqueca. They 💯 know how to cook their seafood to the perfect temperature where it melts in your mouth. So tender.
The moqueca, which I am picky about because having lived in Bahia for a year, I know how the best tastes like and so far outside of Bahia they have lived up to the flavors.
On top of having ridiculously delicious food, their staff are just THE BEST. Impeccable, high quality service right here. They know they get so busy as lines can go as far as having to wait over an hour for a table… but they never lower the quality of their service. Extremely attentive and best of all, extremely friendly and playful.
It’s a whole package experience in here, you guys. You just can’t replace the experience here. I had a blast dining here and I will never forget it. Highly recommended. Don’t just come for the food, come for the experience 🥰

Read moreExcellent setting by the sea. The decor was unique. We had a nice table. All was okay until the menu came along. We were obviously given a tourist menu which was highly overpriced, yet again we hoped we would get an exceptional dish. We were highly disappointed by the octopus (R$ 55,00) which was boiled and tasteless and then the main dish which we shared (R$ 143,00) was an immitation of "Paella" with different kinds of seafood and the quality was not worthy of the price. What really made it unbelievable was the serving of bread we asked for, and found out when we got the bill, we were charged R$ 20,00. The service was okay, but when high prices like this are charged, I would expect salt and pepper shakers on the table and not sachets like it was a fast food store. We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel Florianopolis Palace Hotel (FLOPH) we stayed in and we told them never to recommend this place again, and we will definitely tell everyone we meet and is thinking of going to Florianópolis to keep away of this restaurant. We were definitely...
