I never write bad reviews but this was some of the worst food I’ve ever had - and they still charged me for a dish that was returned to the kitchen twice so I felt the need to warn others. I went on a Monday, so maybe that’s why, but whoever the chef was that day was rushing their cooking.
Do not get the gnocchi if you go and do not get the pizza either. I would not suggest going here at all.
They use a microwave to heat the sauce and the plate up and the gnocchi appears to be frozen and reheated and placed in after the microwave is used. I used to work in a kitchen so I know when a plate comes out boiling hot but the food on the plate is cold, a microwave is used.
The gnocchi was undercooked, they took it back the first time, and the second time everything was cold, including the gnocchi, and I believe it was the same sauce and plate as the one I sent back but with new gnocchi that was under cooked again. I explained this to the staff and told them I didn’t have time for them to make a third one and they still charged me for it.
The margarita pizza was also undercooked, with globs of hard cheese and tomatoes that were way too thick and way too much oregano. It was one of the worst pizzas I’ve had.
The drinks were good - so if you go don’t get food just get drinks. There are far better Italian places where they won’t charge you for dishes that weren’t cooked right and they don’t use a microwave to cook.
I would not have wrote this review if a manager had came over and said “sorry, we won’t charge you for the gnocchi” but alas nobody said anything. No sorry, no can we offer you something else, just took the plate and...
Read moreIf I could rate this place cero stars, I would have. We went yesterday to celebrate the end of our friend group trip, our approach was super relaxed towards the fact that the waiting time was over an hour, little did we know that this would be the least tedious thing about this restaurant. We ordered an appetizer( risotto balls) … the plate arrived frozen, not only that but the service took the plate and brought it back boiling hot and it was clear that it was the same, not a new one, the cheese inside was rock frozen…. The main course took its time to arrive…. We believe the staff forgot our order, strange since as arriving they give you a bracelet to charge the order on it, anyway the plates were nowhere to be found and after what it seemed more than an hour, half of them arrived and frozen. At this point we were tired, we tried talking to someone in charge who literally bullied us with no shame towards the disaster the service was. We left having eaten a frozen appetizer and cero compensation. Literally the worst experience in dining...
Read moreThis place is the exact definition of a tourist trap. At the entrance, they give you a wristband (yes, like at a club) to make you feel like a VIP. But you don't use them at all, so why bother?? After the first red flag, you enter a very cool atmosphere where they try to make you feel comfortable. You'll certainly remember the decor forever after staring at it for over 1 hour while waiting for appetizers (if the waiter doesn't mess up your order). Add another 30 minutes for the main course. You'd think this happens because the place is packed, but it's not. They have a lot of staff up front - just for the wristband procedure they have 4 people! The food is not that good, except for the pizza with brie. If you want to teach your kids about the cruelty of unmet expectations after a long wait, bring them here. They'll learn more from this dining experience than any homework. The only decent part was the prompt drink service, likely to get diners drunk so they don't notice the slow kitchen....
