Worst experience in the last 20 years. We ordered 2 Caipis with Maracuja for 30 BRL each and got some odd tasting concentrate which we immediately returned. The day before we paid 20 for 2 and got the real delicious stuff with fresh Maracuja incl. the seeds. The food was no better: We ordered beef for 170 BRL and got very low quality meat that took a sharp knife to cut and patience to chew. My wife collected 6-7 pieces that her mouth returned and she is not very picky but usually eats everything. On top of it it was badly oversalted. Ended up with long discussion threatening to call the police if we don't pay all. We told him, well, call the police and that for this kind of price, which is far from being cheap for Brazilian standards, we have a right to get good quality food. Ended in not paying for the cocktails which we returned after I have taken a short zip. Pity since Brazil is well known for both excellent beef as well as cocktails and so far everywhere we were highly pleased. This place was the complete opposite, nice location at the beach, very good live music but drinks and food an absolute...

I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. My party of four had a terrible experience, and we were all extremely disappointed with the food and service.
The cucumbers we ordered as a side were dry and tasted like they had been sitting in a fridge for days. The sauce plate we ordered was tasteless and had too much flour in it, making it feel like we were eating paste. Our shrimps were overcooked and tough to chew.
To make matters worse, the oysters we ordered as an appetizer were boiled and tasted rubbery and disgusting. When we complained, the person who handled our complaint accused us of trying to get a free meal, even though we had eaten only half of the food because we were so hungry and didn't want to search for another place to eat late at night.
Overall, this meal was not cheap, and the quality of the food and service was unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone to avoid dining at this restaurant, as it was a terrible experience that I would not...
Read moreVery humble restaurant with a great ocean view. We got seated by the window, and the waiter was polite. I looked at the overpriced menu and ordered the picanha grelhada. The waited warned me that the picanha wasn't very tender. Major red flag. I should have left right away. When this kind of thing happens in Brazil, it's because they are selling a lower quality meat as picanha, and they are letting customer know, so they can't complain when the bad quality meat comes, they were warned. We ordered the "entrecot" a parmegiana. According to the waiter, it was very tender. Needless to say, it was disappointing. Low quality meat with a $0.50 tomato sauce that they just dumped on the top with cheese. Final price was 250 reais, which is a great restaurant price tag. I honestly think 50 reais would be a fair price for it, consideringthe quantity. Even the black beans were not good (who ruins beans in Brazil?). I wouldn't recommend any food from this place. The Guarana was...
