I stayed in this hostel for months! Here, you really are one big happy family. Everyone connects with each other, goes on trips together and enjoys everything the hostel and Itacaré has to offer. The best thing about the hostel is Sandy who is the owner, she is truly the most hospitable person I have ever met. She goes out of her way to ensure guests are happy and knows everything about what to do in the area and afar. They have special events in the hostel - live bands and dj’s as well as Capoiera occasionally too. The hostel is authentic with art surrounding the walls and lots of lounge spaces to chill out. All of the rooms have mosquito nets on the beds and the rooms are very spacious with very comfortable beds! The hostel is clean and tidy and the breakfast is cooked by a chef each morning and is so good, the breakfast is like a special gathering, where everyone sits together around a big table, laughs, connects and plans their days together with great ideas from Sandy on the best beaches to go to, or rafting, surfing, waterfalls and boat trip rides! At night the hostel also has an open bar and restaurant, with some of the best cocktails being made and a chef making incredible food too! Having one of the best experiences of my life in this hostel and town, I would highly recommend this place to stay,... you won’t...

Read moreMais que nada is an amazing hostel through and through.||||Sandy and her time are really caring and highly professional. They truly make you feel at home. Never got such a good service at any hostel.||||The breakfast is outstanding. Granola, fruit bowls, grilled cheese sandwiches, couscous etc. In an average European city just the breakfast would cost more than what you pay for your stay at mais que nada (yes the breakfast is included).||||The location is amazing. 5 min walk to the centre of the town but far enough off to be a calm place to chill. All the great Itacare beaches are in walking distance.||||The hostel itself is pretty and cozy. Especially the common area is perfect for just hanging out or reading a book. ||||When we were staying at the hostel, there was a really cool crowd of both Brazilians and internationals. It was really easy to get to know people. Also we got visited by a group of monkey who hung out for a bit in the trees of the hostel :)||||All in all, amazing hostel. Can only recommend. Shout-out to Sandy...
