Ola Bistro — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Ilhéus – Itabuna

It looked like a nice place at first, but when the food arrived on the table we were disappointed. The matcha was clearly not real matcha and tasted strange. Even the lemonade was not good, it was water with a little lemon juice. Chia pudding and the smoothie bowl were a small portion and also tasted mediocre, the sandwiches looked better. We had an incredibly rude waitress who rolled her eyes when we kindly asked a question. When taking our order, she already came across as unfriendly. The second our plate was empty she asked right away if we could pay and were sent away right after while our drink wasn't finished. We sat there for a total of maybe 15 minutes. Sure you can kindly ask if you could make the table available again for other people, but she straight up said that we needed to leave immediately in a very unkind way. We were really in shock by the way she talked to us and raised her voice. Other tables next to us also thought it was ridiculous that the situation was handled this way, while we were friendly customers. We personally also work in the hospitality industry so understand very well that this is really absurd behavior. If we ever spoke to someone like that we would be fired immediately. Too bad it had to go this way and she creates a bad image...

Been in Itacaré for five months and this is the worst restaurant I've been to.

Very small amount of food, which was tasteless. I had the ribs. The juice was also tasteless and watery (even though it's the most expensive juice I've seen in all of Itacaré, 22 reais).

I thought something was wrong with my tastebuds, but my friends all agreed with me. The food and especially the juice is tasteless and watery.

Also my friends portions were very small.

I do not recommend this place. The waiter was nice and the location and the atmosphere is good. At 66 reais for the ribs I'd expect a lot more, same with the juice for 22 reais (+ optional service fee at 10 %).

Wish I could get my money back or at least some sort of compensation as this restaurant is a complete disappointment. I highly recommend anyone to spend their money and time elsewhere as there are plenty of good options in Itacaré.

Gostamos muito do restaurante! Estávamos em dois e pedimos o menu 3 serviços (1 entrada, 2 pratos principais, 1 sobremesa e + 2 drinks). O ceviche de entrada é maravilhoso. Nos dois, no prato principal, pedimos o curry de camarão. O arroz é muito bem feito e o tempero do curry é uma delícia (eu gosto de comida mais salgada, então coloquei um pouco mais de sal que já estava na mesa). A sobremesa, de tudo que pedimos, foi o que achamos mais sem graça (o abacaxi), o que não quer dizer que foi ruim, apenas nada demais para o nosso gosto. Acredito que tenha opções melhores no menu. O drink de cacau estava muito bom (esqueci o nome, acho que é cacau tonic), é refrescante e leve, o que foi excelente para variar um pouco das batidas doces que costumamos achar nas barraquinhas de drinks. Com relação a quantidade, eu achei um tamanho adequado para uma pessoa que come normal para pouco. Para grandes fomes acho melhor procurar algo com mais sustância (meu namorado que, segundo ele, estava morrendo de fome, disse que comeria mais uns 3 pratos de cada, mesmo tendo comido metade do meu prato principal 😅). O atendimento foi excelente, o cardápio foi muito bem explicado! O ambiente é muito bonito. A conta para nós dois saiu R$ 253,00. Legal para conhecer, dá para perceber que é uma comida feita com cuidado e bem pensada. É caro para a quantidade da comida, mas tem 2 drinks...
