Pousada Pura Vida — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Ilhéus – Itabuna

I do not recommend. We hired a car from this pousada for one day and had an horrible experience. After driving for only 15 minutes our tire went flat so we used the limited tools in the back we went to get the spare. We put the spare on qnd realised this one was punctured and completely flat and broken also. We called the lady and she was rude and unhelpful. We lost 1/2 a day of travels hitchhiking and fixing her faulty car. We asked to rent an extra day (and pay for it) once we had fixed the tire yet she lied and said she wasn’t renting anymore. So We asked to keep the car for 4 hours extra the next day because of what happened and she charged us a full day rent for it. The next day we found the car for rent still with the same dodgy tire).

We are so disappointed as Bahia is filled with so many beautiful kind people and this experience was the opposite of that she was really taking advantage...

Lorena nos recepcionou muito bem e esta foi a melhor parte. A cama é confortável normal, tamanho padrão casal. O café da manhã estava gostoso. Tinham bolos e quiches além dos pães e frios tradicionais. Também tinham sucos naturais. A localização é maravilhosa, bem no meio da rua mais movimentada e ao lado do melhor comércio e restaurantes. Quanto aos aspectos negativos, achei o banheiro bem apertado. Meu chuveiro estava com problema e não tinha água quente. Fiquei sem tomar banho, pois não tomo banho frio. No dia seguinte comentei com a proprietária ou dona, não sei bem, e não recebi nem desculpas. Achei isso bem ruim. Afinal paguei 420 reais e fiquei sem banho. Não fui compensada de nenhuma forma. Fiquei somente uma diária e pelo que soube não foi consertado logo que que eu saí. Os hóspedes seguintes entraram e o chuveiro continuou com defeito. No banheiro não tem ducha higiênica (eu, particularmente, acho item essencial). Depois de 17h30 não entra carro na rua. Se chegar depois do horário será preciso estacionar na rua atrás e levar a bagagem até a pousada. Tivemos bastante dificuldade em encontrar vaga e andar com as malas pelas ruas com paralelepípedo. Na pousada não tem estacionamento. Não sei se voltaria. Talvez optasse em ficar em outra pousada próximo desta rua principal,...

Rented a car from this place. Car that was provided was unsafe to be driven was completely smashed all around it. You pickup the car at a certain place and you are supposed to deliver it back at the shop. At the end the deposit was not fully returned stating that i had not refuled the car which was absolutely false i did refuel the car just before delivering it back.
