A Barraca — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Distrito Federal

"A Barraca" is a street food kiosk located in QE30 of Guara 2. Overall, I think it is a good cost-benefit place to hang out. The service is overall good, the snacks are good (and they are not expensive) and the place is pleasant. As soon as I sat down, someone brought me a menu with a friendly smile. After having browsed for a couple of minutes, I had chosen I have a savory a sweet option, plus a coffee. The waiter kindly suggested, as the option of dessert, their cold cake, and it was quite good! Their portions are generous enough for hungry tummies. Having said that, do not expect to have 'a gourmet experience' or whatever fancy stuff. This is a nice open spot to sit and watch people come and go, and have a nice chat with friends. Would I go again? Well, I have! And I always make sure to try different stuff from their menu. We have visited here Twice in the past few weeks and both times it has been lovely 😍 the pão de queijo is really good, and the Cappucino was delicious. Last time I had a beautiful empada, but this time I tried the pastel (chicken + cheese), it was fresh, HUGE, and delicious.

The staff here are really kind & friendly, the service was good (they don't charge extra for service!) And the atmosphere is nice there, quiet, and calm.

Frequento a barraca a bastante tempo, no geral, sempre gostei do local… ambiente agradável e a comida é boa, adoro os pastéis do estabelecimento, o hambúrguer e os sucos também são muito bons. O atendimento precisa melhorar, acredito que a escala de funcionários não acompanha o fluxo de clientes do local. Já me acostumei a fazer os pedidos e pagar diretamente no balcão, visto que, geralmente, sempre tem apenas um atendente que faz os pedidos nas mesas, serve, etc… ou seja, ele sempre está bem ocupado e quase sempre indisponível. Mas, pra mim, não é um fator relevante. A cozinha manda bem, mesmo cheio, entregam os pedidos com agilidade. Hoje fui lanchar no estabelecimento e um fato que me chateou bastante foi que pararam de aceitar o vale refeição… pra mim, não faz sentido e com certeza afetará o meu...
