This place needs two reviews: one for the view and another for the restaurant and everything around it.
The restaurant is easily spotted from Itarare Beach, thanks to a sizable banner on its roof displaying its name, making it highly recognizable. The view from the place itself, especially during sunset (even though it's on the opposite side), is spectacular. The entire panorama of Santos unfolds before you, along with the other side of Ilha Urubuqueçaba. This aspect easily earns a 5-star rating.
Now, let's shift our focus to the restaurant itself. The place comes to life on weekends, often featuring live music. However, it's worth noting that some tables, particularly in the central area outside the viewing section, may remain unoccupied. The presence of numerous waiters might suggest quick and efficient service, but the reality is quite the opposite. It took approximately 30 minutes to provide the menu and take our order. The service is sluggish and subpar, with unresponsive waitstaff who lack enthusiasm and engagement in their duties.
Starting at R$200 and going up, one might assume that the establishment, coupled with its prime location, offers exceptionally delicious cuisine. Regrettably, the reality is that despite the relatively high prices, the quality is merely average. While the food is satisfactory, it fails to impress with its flavor. We ordered the passion fruit sauce fish. It was decent, but I've had better, even in Santos. The fillets were scorched on the underside; I didn't anticipate such a poorly executed job from a place like this. The drink had no flavor at all, and the dessert was just okay.
In summary, if you're seeking a casual experience with beer, dessert, and scenic views at a cost of around R$50 per person, then go ahead. However, if you're after sophisticated flavors and high-end cuisine, this is not the...
Read moreMy favorite restaurant in Santos with a gorgeous view of the entire city. The food proportions are huge and meant to be shared. Love the fried chicken (frango a passarinho), the strogonoff are great and so are the fish dishes. My favorite dish is the stuffed chicken with cheese and ham. Sooo good. Never had anything not good there.
I always take family to eat there and enjoy the wonderful outdoor seating over looking the beach at night. It's sometimes breezy but it's never too cold. It can get busy and if it does, they have an adjacent restaurant with indoor seating for a more...
Read moreThe landscape is amazing, and I had an enjoyable lunch. The food was tasty—I started with a Casquinha de Siri, and the main dish was generous, easily serving three people. The Pescada was flavorful, and they were flexible with small modifications to the dish. The Laranja with Acerola juice was good.
The downside was the live music; It was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. The restaurant has an old-school beach vibe, which is fun and adds to...
