Legendary Barbeque — Restaurant in Sofia City

Place is 2-3 min walking distance from UNWE and about 15-20 walking distance from the Technical University through the park between UNWE and Technical University. Legendary BBQ is a nice and relatively big self-service restaurant. It has some tables outside but most of them are inside. Big screen windows through which a lot of sun goes in which makes it nice and cozy during autumn and spring periods. Unfortunately, it is situated just at the pedestrian path right next to the busy small car street. So you might reconsider if you are looking for some more quite place.

Food is nice and freshly cooked. However, most students might get surprised buy the prices, as they are having lunch in an average restaurant. Which I my personal opinion is the contrary of Student Town. In addition to that they do NOT accept credit/ debit card payments. ONLY cash. So keep that in mind.

In general place is kept relatively clean as much as it is possible taking into consideration it is self-service restaurant. Sometimes it gets very busy with long queues but staff there is quick and there are enough pay stations so queue is...

There is nothing legendary in this BBQ. Half of the food is raw and tasteless made of cheap products. It feels like the staff was in a rush while doing the food. Some of the meat products are raw and not done at all. Other minus is the service provided. I felt like i have to order in 30 seconds, as the people from the staff were asking non-stop qustions what would you like, did you already choose something while I was still looking what should I order. The cherry on top was when I order my Combo meal which states on the board 5.50 + 1.00 for soup and they charged me for 8:50 (the soup and the packing for home being separately charged).

Overall would not recomend to visit unless its 02:00AM and there is literally nothing else...

Good food by relatively fair+ price, not a nice environment though, too noise and tables are often dirty... keeps a positive result overall if you carry the compatible mood. Despite indoors, feels like street food.

A BBQ meal like the picture costs near 20lv; There are also options of served portions without BBQ, which would cost near 10lv, and still good food.

Notice that this restaurant has all the food ready to be served, all prepared the morning same day; not a restaurant that prepares your food...
