First I wish I had photos to just prove what was sent to me food wise.
For the last two nights, I have been there as it's the only restaurant close to the hotel, and after a long day at work, I don't want to be going far today.
So last night I ordered something which I thought would be a nice meal. A new item on the menu, and sadly I can remember what it was, but it cost 59 leva and was a terrible mix of fried sea food, which was not fresh, been left and probable warmed up in the microwave, but everything was dry.
But today was the joker. I arrived at 2130 for a meal. The front of house staff are very good, and I ordered a beer, and a steak and some halumi. 15 minutes later, everything arrived.
The halumi looked amazing, with a jam underneath. But it was served cold.
The steak also looked liked it was cooked amazingly, perfectly pink and the little part I tried tasted great, but again, cold.
So i was unhappy to find out my steak was cold. I was not happy. After i mentioned mt issue to the front of house staff. These people where polite and great and said they would get this sorted for me.
10 minutes later the steak comes back, very grey. I knew it had been microwaved, and sent it back, but no halumi.
After 1 hour and 20 minutes the new food came out. The steak looked exactly the same as before, I refused to taste it. And the Halumi was again cold.
So after 1 hour and 20 minutes, I received no edible food, and had to send everything back and refuse the order.
I left and paid for my two beers, the second I did not drink fully.
So as beautiful as the place is, and the waiting staff who are great, I didn't receive one good meal. And tonight left hungry.

The place is nothing fancy and nothing out of the ordinary. we ordered the shrimp with wine and garlic and when we got it it was actually very weird because you couldn't feel neither the wine or the garlic and the sauce was kind of red pepper type red sauce. which is weird because you expect to have garlic, taste and flavor to the shrimps. we also had the Zakintos salad which was simply a piece of cold baked eggplant with a lot of the resultant feta and grilled peppers. it was cold and really salty with no other flavoring whatsoever. we also had the muscles with wine and garlic as the waitress said. these are the only type muscles we have but they are really good. first impression you get when you get the pot with the musels is that the pot is half empty, unlike other places that offer the same pots with mussels. and the flavor was also very bland. We missed the zest of the wine and the garlic, they were saltless and I think the mussels were undercooked as some of them tasted just weird.
about the atmosphere, the place was not very crowded actually and just a few tables across there was that guy with his wife who was speaking on the phone and he had his phone on a loudspeaker so everybody could hear his conversation and the people were looking at him and turning around but the staff didn't do anything. they did not ask the guy to go outside and talk and so on. moreover, at some point he got up with his phone and he started walking around the tables and suddenly you are having dinner and you have a guy that walks behind your back. talking on the phone and staring at your table and he was also on the way of the staff but the staff didn't even say anything even though they did see him being...
Read moreToday, after dozens of visits to the restaurant, my good opinion of it was erased. I used to come with friends, family, brought my friends and I would bring my team too. But now I am not that sure they would like the place. You have a new waiter, by my estimation, for a few months now or since late fall of 2018 - a gentleman of age. The same man served us for the third time today. The first two times, too, was not very kind, brought us the wrong wine, did not tell us that the kitchen was closing and when we asked for dessert, he said we should have said so earlier. We forgave him all the bad attitude the first two times because we told ourselves he was new and learning.
He was also sour today, annoyed that we asked what rice the pilaf was and generally treated us with zero care, hospitality and attention. His other colleague was as always great, but this one was bad and we didn't leave a big tip. On our way out, we were shown how annoyed he was by our action to do so. We wished good night and he just ignored us in hatred. The customer gives or doesn't give tip, depending on how satisfied he is with the food and service. We were not. The fish was heavy breaded, the souvlaki was not at all like what I ate before there. It was not tender and juicy.
