Phnom Penh has a vast array of great restaurants. It's hard to know where to begin and whom to listen to. Here's why I like Orchidee:
I don't know if I visited the same restaurant as other reviewers, given their enthusiasm and mention of 'French food'; the menu I was handed comprised 'Asian' and 'Italian-esque' listings.
Eyeing the range of pasta on offer with suspicion, I ordered from the pan-Asian pages. Of the three dishes, ordinary at best, I swear that the pad thai was the only one not made up out of a can or jar. Just under $30 for a sub-par meal.
Service was slow. The wine bait-and-switch was well practiced.
As is often the case in Cambodia, there is no separation between family and public spaces, or between pets and food...

Not only that even she moved against her will they can sit 6western in 4seats. I guess this restaurant is stupidly racist. So, the Chinese woman said..Next time don't treat me like this , because like them I pay too. For me, this restaurant is not friendly to customers. I don't need to be biased . I am just telling my honest opinion....
