I don't often give 5 stars. It requires superlative service, glorious atmosphere and top quality coffee.

Yes, yes, and yes.

This branch of the Tube Coffee chain is on the grounds of the Khmer-Soviet Hospital. Having visiting other "Tubes", this is a completely different experience.

First of all, the grounds, architecture, central courtyard, statuary and atmosphere are of museum level quality. The ambient background music aligns perfectly with this overall impression.

The cleaning staff is active, keeping the shop spotless, as you might with the actual hospital was, and they do it unobtrusively. The order staff is efficient, friendly and professional.

The coffee was, I suppose, par for the course at Tube but the overall atmosphere elevated the experience so I enjoyed the coffee more than usual.

Pro Tip: This is a special place. Come here when you have enough time to really appreciate it. A quick in and out would not do this...

Even though it’s crowded, the numbered ticket system keeps things organized, so you can pick up your drinks smoothly without any confusion. The place is very clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating as well as many charging outlets, which is great. The only downside is that there’s just one unisex restroom, so a line can form at times.
