Paradise Restaurant — Restaurant in Koh Rong Sanloem

Same complaints as the last 2 reviews. Slow everything. But the food that did finally come out wasn't even worth the wait. The barracuda amok was pretty flavourless as was the chicken amok. The 'french fries' were actually big chunks of sweet potato and still pretty soft and hardly crispy. I had the papaya salad and fried pork and the three pieces of pork and tiny salad that it came with was pathetic. I don't want a mountain of rice. I want food the food that I'm paying extortionate prices for. Such a shame since the decor is lovely. Just whoever is running it right now is not caring at all about...

Nice restaurant but customer service needs improving. It takes ages to order food or get your bill. My friend paid with $50 and got change. She then tried to pay for a drink with a $20 she received back and was refused because it had a blue mark on it. When I went I politely asked for a menu so I could order food and was told to sit down. It might be in a jokey way but there needs to be some improvement. A new guy seems to be trying hard. The owner is German and you can watch him take his dogs to the water and watch them chase the fish. Barracuda curry is recommended. Tom yum...

Not really sure why this place has so good review. Maybe we just came on a bad day. The food was very very mediocre. The ambient is nice but the amount of time you need to wait until you get food is way too long. It took 30 minutes to get our 2 appetizers. After that another 1 hour until we got our 4 main courses. And the place was almost empty, I don't know how they manage in case it was full. When asking for the bill, believe it or not, 15-20 minutes again to wait because the waitresses don't know the prices...
