Le Boj, Douala — Restaurant in Communauté urbaine de Douala

I must admit that I was taken aback when I stepped into the BOJ the other night. One of my colleagues informed me it was a beautiful location with a terrific music show. He also told me that the food is good, and I should try it.

I can confirm that we went for supper on a Friday. The meal is excellent, and the music presentation, which included both local and foreign tunes, was fantastic. I counted ten people onstage at one point. The location is fantastic, with plenty of space and a massive bar loaded with whatever you could want.

They serve a range of good food (generally foreign) and drinks, as well as live music. The live music is one of the (if not THE) best feature

They provide a section for somewhat intimate dining, as a family or couple. However, it is a much better experience for people who visit as a group, to enjoy a meal or drink together, and listen to good music.

Fantastic bar with live music and karaoke. The band is amazing, super entertaining and well equipped with a wide range of playlists, both National and international. The place is not very crowded and the music isn’t deafening, which some people like me may like. The neighborhood seemed safe and the staff was very professional and caring.
