Restaurant "Le Colisée", Yaoundé — Restaurant in Yaoundé

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I have only been here once. I went with my friend in the evening at about 8pm on a Tuesday night, needless to say it was pretty empty. We spent time at the shisha parlour. First of all I have to say reception was very good, we were given a tour at our request, the kitchen is see through, that was a really nice touch. Like I earlier said, we were at the shisha parlour and one shisha costs 5000frs, abit pricey aye. However, the decor was beautiful, comfort is impacable, large screen TVs for you to distract yourself. I must commend the dj, (s)he did a beautiful job playing captivating tunes. We had a cheese and ham pizza, it was really really good but it costs 8000frs. Beers start from 2500frs, other liquors are alot more pricey. Overall I have to say the vibes were good but it is a pricey place. It's worth it tho, to relax and have a chat. Definitely merits 5 stars but I will leave it at 4...

The service girl was nice, big food portions . The bad experience was I forgot my purse but upon returning it to me the staff stole the 10.000frs I had in the zipper section. I had sent my husband to retrieve it and they told him there wasn't any money in the purse.Now that's bad and I urge the director to caution his staff. Happened on Monday night. Impressive place. Great interior design with good lighting and natural ventilation. Ample parking space. Good customer service which is rare in Yaounde and the joy of being able to swipe a debit/credit card in a restaurant in Yaounde can't be overstated. Drawbacks were, very slow Wi-Fi and abit pricey.
