A&W Canada — Restaurant in Alberta

I love A&W, especially The Teen Burger. Usually when we come to the Taber restaurant, it is very clean and tidy. This time it wasn't. Every open table was dirty from a previous customer. When we eventually got someone to clean and wipe down the table, the person proceeded to wipe the table and push the garbage and left over food to the ground.

The one thing I noticed was there is a girl that usually is working there (she has been there a long time) and she wasn't there that day. She always brings a smile to my face with her cheerful attitude. Hopefully she will be there the next time I come there.

I normally love A&W, especially the Taber location. However today I was a little disappointed because although the servers weren't rude they also didn't seem happy. I had ordered sweet potato fries but they brought regular fries to my table. When I asked them about it they just responded "you have regular fries" and dismissed me. I would have appreciated you switching them or at least double checking what was ordered because the person I was there with did confirm I had ordered sweet potato fries. It will be awhile before I visit again because it is hard for me to visit a business where I feel like I am more of an inconvenience...

I will start by saying I have never been disappointed by the quality of the food served here but the place does seem terribly mismanaged. Almost always out of something or a lengthy wait for common menu items. Tired of being told to pull around I figured we would circumvent the issue and order thru the app only to get to the window and be told they were sold out of hashbrowns. Who runs out of hashbrowns?!
