A&W Canada — Restaurant in Alberta

Typically I dont rate fast food places, because you know what's your getting. but unfortunately I had a very unhealthy thing happen at this specific a and w, I ordered a breakfast sandwich in the drive thru, I had to wait 5 min because I also ordered burgers for the day and they weren't ready,, when I received my order in the parking lot the breakfast Sammy had a puddle of grease in the bag (should have took a pic for this post),, I went inside and told the drive thru lady and showed her, she apologized and threw it out, she then went into the kitchen hen to adress the situation to the "cook"(it's grease I get it, it's fast food etc) I decided to pay attention to the kitchen at this point and watched the drive threw lady (who handles money, atm controller etc and shouldn't handle food) prepare the new breakfast Sammy!.. She Came out front and handed me the bag. I told her I refuse to take that product because of the health regulations she violated and I seen with my own eyes... She tried to tell me she washed her hands before she went back there, well in the food industry you should lather your hands for at least 15 seconds with warm water at a minimum, the time it took me retuning my bad product for a new one was about 20 seconds (do the math)... I'm not a fussy eater but I do know when I see something incredibly unhealthy. I left without taking the product. This apparently is a joint that doesn't follow basic food standards. We parked our truck at the A&W in olds as we ran out of gas and it was a few days before payday. My wife and kids were sick at the time so I thought it would be safe to park my truck there as I saw no signs that it was private parking and would be towed. On the fourth day it was towed and we were never notified of this. When we went it to talk to the manager they stated it sat for 11 days which is not true, they also claim the cops were involved but when we talked to them they were not. I talked to them again and there story changed that a customer told them about it. Each time we talked to them their story changed. I sent a complaint to the head office and received an email from the owner stating that there policy is after a few days they will notify the police and then the police will contact the owner, if after a few more days there is no luck then they will have it towed. This was not the case as we have proof it was only there for 4 days so again we were lied to. He tried to blame it all on us but the truth is they have no signs stating it will be towed, they continued to lie to us and treat my family poorly. We are a struggling family as are many out there and have now lost our only means of transportation and A&W will not take any responsibility for it. I will never eat there again and can’t believe that with everything that had happened in the world in the last few years that people...

Very disappointed. My breakfast order today was a disaster. The extra bacon I ordered was missing as was the extra egg. The Hasbrown that is included with one of my orders by default is also missing a substitution offered on the app is missing. A solid 25% of the cost of my order is missing. The recipt given to me at the store also reflects what I ordered so definitely not an issue with my ordering or the app. When brought the extras to complete my order the employee tried to tell me that the receipt they got didn't have the extras on it so it wasn't included. Not possible considering the paper receipt given to me by the employee and my emailed copy are identical and show the extras and substitutions. This is not the first breakfast order issue I have had here within the last week which is shocking because it is normally quite good and correct.
