A&W Canada — Restaurant in Alberta

Hello a friend and I were at WENDY, Wainwright Alberta for lunch today. I ordered an CEASAR SALAD and asked for a cup of water. Nothing big but was told it would cost me 60 CENTS! What?. I HAVE ASKED FOR WATER AT OTHER PLACES AND NEVER HAD TO PAY FOR A GLASS OF WATER. NO DRINK FOR ME. I AM A SENIOR ON LIMITED INCOME. I don’t likeLOTS OF SALADA DRESSING but there was NOT ENOUGH SALAD DRESSING for my CEASOR SALAD. I went to the counter and asked for another package of SALAD DRESSING BUT AGAIN WAS TOLD THERE WAS A COST FOR A CEASOR PACKAGE. What again? Another cost to have a SMALL PACKAGE OF SALAD DRESSING. YIKES I was so disappointed with the cost of the above. I am a Senior on limited income. I will not return to WENDY’S WAINWRIGHT ALBERTA FOR ANY MEALS AGAIN. The name of the counter help was RAMAN. Where’s the beef? Right here, Bud. Hit this place up for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Pickles are crisp and lettuce is fresh. My fave is the teen burger but if you’re in for a ride ask for the 7 patty unit (not on the menu). And a cheese between each patty.

Breakfast is not to be missed. Get the bacon & egger and prepare to be satisfied. Pair it up with a hash-brown and you’re golden. If you’re more of a sit down breakfast guy/girl hit up the platter, have a coffee, and contemplate life.

The only downside about this place is it’s not a brew bar. So no frozen root beer.

My buddy had the chicken fingers and highly recommends them. Ask for the habanero sauce on the side.

We haven't been going to A & W for a while now... Due to the fact.. that we never have had a fresh Hot burger. Tonight was the first night in a long time, that we decided to give it another shot. When I ordered our teenburgers ..I specifically asked for fresh burgers, and said we are willing to wait. Long story short.. they thought they would pull a fast one, They served us the burgers in the warming trays Again!!! Which are barely warm!!!! I understand when you run a fast food place, that you have to keep some patties ready. But when a customer asks for a fresh burger and is willing to wait for it, they should get a fresh Hot burger they paid good money for! We have always loved A&W burgers but..We...
