I don't want to come off as being harsh or unfair but I do want to be honest and my honest opinion is that I would not eat here again.
I found the food to lack in quality flavor and value when compared to similar food from other restaurants, even when compared to frozen dinners from Walmart.
This was our first time eating here and upon arriving home with the meal and unpacking everything it was instant regret. That regret only grew as we took our first bites.
I'm not a foodie, I'm not hard to please, and for that reason I should have gone to the store and bought a frozen meal because it would have tasted better and cost me significantly less.
I'm not alone in my opinion, those that shared the meal agreed.
I suggest that the owners and employees sample all of the items on the menu and compare and rate the quality, portion sizes, and value (don't forget to factor in the tip). Then I suggest they all go out for dinner to a restaurant in Grand Prairie and sample similar items from the menu after which return to Anna's and take a second look at the ratings given to the items...
Read moreI stopped in here with my girlfriend on a whim one night, I ordered the calzone that was on special expecting a 5 inch pizza pop similar to Boston Pizza. What came out was a 12" calzone, on a homemade crust cooked to perfection seasoned with parmesean and garlic on the crust and absolutely stuffed with ingredients, I was blown away, my girlfriend ordered the soup of the day, we discussed if it was going to be a pre-made bag soup like a chain restaurant would do but it wasn't it was homemade chicken noodle with lots of noodles, big chunks of chicken and lots if veggies and came with garlic bread. Both the 12 inch calzone and the soup if the day came out to $24, we had a nice conversation with the owner that mentioned he has owned it since 1996. If you are going through Beaverlodge it is well worth it to stop in this...

Upon the first bite we both immediately agreed it was the best pizza either of us had ever had. The crust is right mix of chewy and crisp , the sauce is herbaceous and not overwhelming, and the thick layer of cheese is to die for.
We dreamed of this pizza during our entire 6 months in Alaska, and knew we had to stop by again on the way back to New England. The second time was just as good as the first, and this time we got to chat with one of the owners, who was absolutely delightful.
Stop by Anna’s if you’re ever driving through Beaverlodge, you...
