Visit Date: October 18th, 2023

Location: Beaverlodge, Alberta

Review:

Tucked away in the heart of Beaverlodge, Alberta, Sunrise Diner is a delightful find for anyone seeking a cozy and quant dining experience. During my recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the charm and warmth that this establishment exuded.

Ambiance: The diner's ambiance was exceptionally inviting. The clean and tidy interior provided a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a quiet meal or a relaxed conversation. The tasteful choice of background music added to the overall comfort and was a pleasant surprise.

Service: The staff at Sunrise Diner deserves special commendation. Attentive, friendly, and efficient, they ensured that every guest felt valued. Our orders were promptly taken, and we were provided with recommendations that reflected their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Menu Highlights:

Yummy Breakfasts: Sunrise Diner lives up to its name by offering a delightful selection of breakfast options. I indulged in their breakfast, and the flavours were as vivid as the morning sun. The quality and taste of the dishes, from perfectly cooked eggs to crispy bacon, were simply delightful. Donairs: The donairs were a delectable surprise. Bursting with flavors, the tender meat and fresh vegetables were perfectly complemented by a savory sauce. A must-try for those who appreciate a Mediterranean twist.

Conclusion: Sunrise Diner in Beaverlodge, Alberta, is a hidden gem that promises an all-around delightful dining experience. Clean, quiet, and with excellent music in the background, it's a haven for those seeking a peaceful meal. The welcoming staff and their commitment to service make it a must-visit. We were very excited to try this new restaurant for my birthday breakfast. These lovely folks have taken over the old Soups location, and it seems to be fairly popular for this teeny town with a few tables full on a weekday morning the week after Christmas.

The breakfast "sandwich" was a hit with my teenager. It comes in a wrap that seems simlar to a crepe. My husband had an omlette that he enjoyed, and I have definitely had worse hashbrowns. My eggs benedict, however, could use some improvements. The hollandaise was quite bland, the eggs a bit too runny, and the ham is an inexpensive type of pressed-together machine processed meat amalgamation that was full of tiny bits of bone. Pretty disgusting and completely ruined an otherwise passable breakfast.

The staff were friendly and attentive, if a touch scattered, but I believe the one lady was new, and they didn't seem to have expected so many guests on a Wednesday morning. I would love to come back and try some of the other items...

Love the small town feel. Cozy diner. Clean bathroom! I really liked the coffee maker being in the dining area. Made it easy to top off coffee without waiting for the waitress. Waitress didn't tell us what the daily soup was, and that would have been nice. I enjoy walking into a small town diner and being greeted with specials and daily soup as you sit down. I did NOT enjoy the wait for food. Nearly an HOUR wait to eat! I was close to walking out. The food was good. Portion size was perfect ๐Ÿ‘Œ. The cook makes amazingly perfect pouched eggs. Food is priced competitively, but still more than other diners I've been to. I will return as I always like to give a...
