Good food, terrible service.
We spent the morning at the Splash Park with the kids then decided to go to the Burger Shack for lunch. Upon arriving we were told we could not sit inside bit could use the picnic tables outside - okay no problem. After sitting down with the kids no one came out to take our order. My friend went to the open window and asked about a menu and they said we can only order through the drive through bit we could walk through it. It would of been nice if they would have mentioned it in the beginning. So we got our order together and my friend stood in the drive through lane. After she ordered she came sat down, over 10 vehicles came and went and we still didn't have our food. I inquired and the OWNER snapped at me and said "can't you see we are busy" .. yes and I also have 3 hungry little kids that have been waiting a half hour for food. We had been to Betsy's before, but I was only hungry enough to try the ice cream or milkshakes the last couple of visits. This time around we were actually able to sit inside the tiny little diner and have a burger.
Betsy's reminds me a lot of "Jack's Drive In" in Spruce Grove. They have the same "50's" style of burger with lots of fries and onion rings to go along for the ride.
The friends that were along with us recommended the Mushroom Burger so I gave it a try. It is a sloppy, messy affair, but it sure was tasty! Everyone in the group really enjoyed their food.
