The food is 'ok' we had the bacon bits...not crispy enough to chewy, taste was alright but salty, the tempura shrimp tasted good but for the price they need to add more, way over priced, the wings were great, but the 'hot' sauce needs to be spicy as stated ..not mild!,need blue cheese, Fish n chips were good, your fries should not be shoestring, big fat fries, the prices you charge for meals should at least show in the amount of food served tojustify the price, ceaser salad was great! The shrimp po boy was not enough filling to much bread, again for the price a lot more filling, burgers were good, tasty but buns fell apart after 2 bites..lol beef dip not served with a-ju is a shame, never have I seen fries gravy served for dipping, sandwich was better without it! Service was great, our waitress was very good and listened to how we liked our drinks very well, did great(blonde lady) the dark haired server she needs to understand the menu a little better, coated wings (sauce)does not mean (breaded) we asked if the wings were breaded..she said yes! Had to get the other waitress to change our appetizers back to wings after she told us they are not breaded! The place is very clean, bathrooms are clean! I do understand you are located in a lake community and your prices are what they are because of lack of customers in the winter, but quality and quantity is something that should reflect your prices at least somewhat😉 we have been there in all seasons and found service is good, food ok and prices not...

I went to chef n with a couple of friends the other night I will admit the food and atmosphere was amazing perfectly cooked steak and fries my boyfriend’s sandwich was amazing and so was the drinks. But the owner on the other hand maybe he was just trying to joke around with us but it didn’t seem like that. I walked in to the restaurant to him shouting better have your IDS out and then he went over to us and looked at our IDs and tossed them back at us, then only gave us one menu ( even though there were 5 people at the table) and said I don’t want you wasting our menus. then he continued to go up to a regular and say” service right” . Our waitress came up to us she was very sweet and made sure we were taken care of. However a different staff member kept looking at me, and it was very clear she was talking about me saying I could have had a fake ID it made me feel very embarrassed and uncomfortable, I recommend this restaurant for the food and service however I do not like the owner. Then another table came in to see no tables clean the waitress looked pretty busy which I understand but another staff member could have cleaned the table and helped her out the customers who came in chose to sit at a dirty table. the reason why I am so appalled by that is because I have allergies, if I sat at that dirty table I could have had an anaphylactic shock because the people were...

Went for a long drive and decided to eat at this restaurant, under new management for over 1.5 years. I ordered from their Chef's selections Head Chef Issac's seared salmon over an asparagus and house bacon risotto blanketed with a sake beurre blanc and garnished with fried capers served with market vegetables. This was a great tastimg dish, the presentation was awful and! It looked like puke on a plate, did not look appetizing but it tasted good, salmon was tender and not over cooked and when they say "over an asparagus" they are not kidding! It was one asparagus chopped up. The risotto was good but runny (hence the presentation). The sauces for the salmon was a bit lacking the bacon over powered the sake all over the dish. The grilled cheese was great delivered fresh daily, Sylvan Star Gouda with garlic butter on sourdough grilled to perfection. Served with home made tomato soup which was good but not creamy. We also ordered a side Caesar salad which was nothing really to special to write about. Table service was superb and the restaurant was very clean and cozy and casual. Great watering hole on one side with two patios. Great for tourists to relax and campers whom...

It's a nice atmosphere and clean. Staff are friendly. The food was okay. Pricing was a bit high for the portion sizes. We got the nachos to start , and there was hardly any cheese on them but they were really good!!! They aren't big enough to share. To add chicken was $5. So they were $21.50, but the nacho chips were good. They were the best thing we ordered, just small portioned. My son got the burger - he didn't like that the burger patty was burnt. He said otherwise it was okay. My daughter got the cheesy pasta on the kids' menu. It was pretty good and well priced. She said it was cold on the top. My husband and I shared the fish and chips. It was $26 dollars and it's one piece of fish. The fish wasn't very battered, more of a breaded, and it was overcooked. The fries were kinda cold or old. The gravy wasn't that great. The veggies on the side were mushy and poorly seasoned. The waitress was polite, but I wish she had cleared the table after the nachos and before our mains so the table wasn't so crowded. Our bill for 4 meals and 3 drinks was around $87. Overall, it is a cute diner, and other things on the menu sounded good. We will be back to try more stuff 🙂

Where do I even begin…. After enjoying a couple’s massage at the rad little spa here we decided to grab lunch at Chef’N We walked into an awesome atmosphere, being greeted by the staff right away as we found ourselves a table in the lounge, it was a bumpin little place for the time of day we were in there My husband and I both had the manhattan striploin, wow did they deliver They had the best music playing so it was an absolute delight waiting for our steaks, which were amazing, perfect little hint of smoke on it, paired with the mushrooms I added to it, to die for, and the veg was spiced perfect too All in all we really enjoyed our experience at this awesome little lounge here, the village at pigeon lake is an absolute hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, normally you gotta hit the big city lights for a place like this Big city feels in a small town community, it was the perfect little date to kick off our weekend, highly recommend

Clean welcoming and not pretentious. I had the steak sandwich for lunch and it was excellent! I tried the coleslaw but it wasn't to my liking. I then had the dessert which is made in-house and it was delicious. I had to bring half of it home for my husband who enjoyed it as well. I spoke to a couple of ladies who were dining there as well and they come out all the way from Edmonton once a month for lunch. That tells you how good the food is! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or heck, be adventurous and take a drive for an excellent lunch or dinner.
