I’ve eaten here a dozen times or so. I kept coming back and supporting local because the salads and sandwiches were phenomenal. However, the last couple times the food hasn’t been the same. I’ve been given a sandwich with old bread that was so dry I had to take a drink with each bite. Recently, I got a Cobb salad and it was like a completely different salad than I previously got. The lettuce was mostly brown wilted and turning brown, no spinach in it (edit: shouldn’t be expected), maybe 5 small pieces of chicken, and about half the size of the salad I had a few months ago. For the cost, this place used to be incredible. Now, I’m not sure what to think because I wouldn’t even pay $5 for the $13 salad. When it’s good it’s so good, however it’s starting to be a gamble I’m not sure I want to bet on. Edit: I’d rather not receive free food and that only solves the issue once, I’d rather just have confidence in what I’m paying for here...
Read moreI have been coming here every week since opening and absolutely love this place. Food is so fresh. Good size portions and staff is always very friendly. I’ve tried the sandwiches, soups, buns and desserts and have been impressed with all of it. I feel the price here is great as you’re paying the same or more at fast food places and getting way better quality @ Chubb’s. I travel from red deer to sundre every week and could pick any place to eat along the way but always Plan my lunch here and will continue to Do so....

They don't make enough for the day. If your open 10-7 and you run out of everything by noon what do you do for the rest of the day? I went in at 1030 one day to grab some soup and I was told it was not ready. Still completely frozen. I just wish it was better managed. It's a shame because it could be an...
