Moonshine Cafe — Restaurant in Alberta

Went in for breakfast, my husband and I each ordered the breakfast plate and because it was one egg Benedict I also ordered the cauliflower and broccoli soup. When our order came it was incorrect. We got 2 poached eggs, 2 slices of white toast and 3 strips of bacon and hash browns. Confused, thinking we got the wrong order I spoke to our server asking where the holindase sauce was and she said it was what we ordered. Thinking I must have ordered the wrong thing I checked the menu again and then our server said that they didn't serve it that way except on the weekend. I would have appreciated honesty from the beginning and it wouldn't have been a big deal. I definitely would have ordered something else. Soup wasn't for me too much salt but that's just up to taste. There was live music, a lady singing country covers and coffee. The people who were working seemed friendly enough but were kind of disorganized, I had to ask for the coffee they were supposed to bring after they offered to refill it but it is the long weekend. A friend and I went for lunch the other day to the moonshine Cafe. This was our first visit. We were greeted by a lady maybe the owner as soon as we came in, she was so friendly and welcoming . We were asked if it was our first visit and she then explained the menu and specials . I have allergies and she made sure I was safe wirh my order. I will be happy to go back again when we can sit inside and have our meal just because it is such a cute setting. The patio is lovely and well set up which was where we ate our meal. I had a burger and thankfully it was explained before I ordered that the burgers are smoked so they are a bit pink inside. (I did still have a little trouble wirh rhat) the burger was great. The wedges are so tasty. Everything is fresh and very flavorful. I can't wait to go again and try some different things. On a side note. Tbe little shop attached to the restaurant is fabulous and has a lot of really well priced clothes and jewelry . Over all it was a great experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the pink burger. Thats all...

This place is amazing!

The first day, I had a hot chocolate and shared a German chocolate cake with my boyfriend, who also had a coffee.

The next day, we went for lunch, and I had a burger with minestrone soup while my boyfriend had the hamburger with the homemade wedges. We each had a Mexican coffee as well.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The burgers, soup, and wedges are all made in-house, and the quality of the food stood out. So delicious and filling!

The employee was also extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She was also really polite!

Moonshine Cafe is connected to The Database store, so you can browse and shop in there as well.
