A big RANT to Tim Hortons Tofield inside the ESSO!!!
It was only 9 am and my family were traveling to Edmonton when we stop by to get breakfast. When I line up and wait to order, one of the lady (filipina) in Tims laugh at me and talk to her friend and both of them looked back at me again laughing, I didn't mind at first since I don't know what they are talking about. Anyways, the guy on the counter told me sorry for keeping me waiting and that is really nice, he is a white guy btw. He is the only one not a filipino in the team that time. And another filipina lady ask me of my order and I told her what it is she just shrugged and told me they don't have it in a bored face and kinda annoyed face, like it is not really understanding! It's just morning and the attitude they giving back to customer is not really acceptable. I didn't order again and I said sorry instead. I moved to Pizza hut and it says there just rang a bell if you want to order. I rang and 5 mins after came a filipina lady again ignoring me on the counter. I waited again for about 5 mins when my husband came to me, decided not to order anymore. But when I reach the door out I saw the lady from the pizza hut again on esso the counter and she told me that the pizza will open in 11 am, like duhh she should have told me earlier when we met in the counter on the pizza hut!!! Being nice doesn't require anything and you can make someone's day great! It is just so sad and sickening that I encounter this from my Kapwa Filipino or from the same filipino kababayan!! They don't have customer service at all, they are rude and not friendly. And before I put this review I research first if people also experience the same and I found out just 4 days ago they received a rant as well and worst contacted the Tim Hortons management on the specific area. Please we only ask a little thing, be nice it...
Read moreSo I have had some really bad experiences at this Tim Hortons location, and I have just let them go, haven’t said a word, until today, today took the cake on disgusting. So with past experiences, drive through lady is rude, they mess up orders, don’t listen.
So let’s get started on today’s experience, which will probably never have me go back there again. To my little girl asked for breakfast, when we were going to meet her mom. I told her yes, but dad is going to go in as they always mess up our orders when we go through the drive through.
So I parked a went in, I ordered exactly what my little girl and boy wanted, and I ordered myself a tea. Obviously the tea was ready before the food so she got my tea, and proceeded to help the people behind me, which is fine, except for the fact that they paid cash for there order, so she accepted the money, dug through the change draw, and gave them their change all in the meantime wearing the gloves she just made the food with, afterwards, when she was done with them she went back, didn’t change her gloves and proceeded to make my order, when she handed to me I told her like hell I was accepting that food and for her to remake it with clean gloves on, she gave me some attitude, changed her gloves, and remade the order, if this is what’s going to happen when you’re watching them make your order, can you imagine what’s happening when you go through the drive through and you can’t see them. This is absolutely disgusting, no proper food handling, and completely unacceptable. I don’t think I’ll be ordering food from...
Read moreHow hard is it to screw up a simple lunch order? Apparently not so hard!!!!! Let's try a bit harder employees of Tofield Tim Horton's, it doesn't hurt to be polite, or friendly or to pay attention to the requirements of your job! We tried many times to give this Tim's a chance, but we only have so much patience to give. Trying to support community businesses isn't easy, especially at this Tim's Horton's as we have never gotten the correct order yet!
SO !!!!!! We did Contact Tim Hortons directly.. Your location requires staff to be better trained in customer relations. The vast majority of your staff do not communicate in English as their first language and unfortunately this causes problems when speaking to customers directly. A business like atmosphere in the work place, regardless of language is a requirement when in the service industry. At your location, your staff are constantly switching between languages resulting in inattentive customer relations, mistakes are made, orders are not completed properly, staff becomes rude, voices are raised behind the scenes, making customers feel that their business is not appreciated. When going through your drive through, staff taking orders are not clear with their questions, sometimes unfamiliar with your menu and unable to communicate or understand the customers needs. We will not be supporting this location any further as we have had too many incorrect orders, faced disgruntled employees, listened to yelling, squabbling, and general disorder in the kitchen area and have left feeling hurried...
