What a disappointing evening. Went for a great comedy show however would never ever go back Ordered dinner to no avail They kept saying the kitchen is backed up so never did we receive our dinner Tickets were all pre sold so they knew how many would be in attendance Ran out of glasses and served our wine in a water glass Loud mouths in the crowd should have been tossed out but waited till it erupted into a fight amongst a few men Just a low class dive The show started late and was cut short so instead of 2hrs it was 1.5 hr Certainly was not worth $35 for the tickets!! So my husband and I were driving through Calmar today and we were hungry so we thought we would stop at the PUBLIC HOUSE to get a bite to eat. The sign was flashing OPEN, The door was open, a group of people just walked in, my husband and I walk in and some lady in the back, yells Sorry we’re not open to the public today in a rude tone. I am new to the town of Calmar. I don't get out much, as I do not know a lot of people in the area. I stopped by to have a drink after work and was really impressed with this place. The owner was a tall, muscular man who was very friendly, with a soft and gentle demeaner. He was even super patient with my specific chicken wing request, and always made sure my drink was topped up. This place has a great atmosphere, and is an awesome place to hang out and play pool.
