STEAKHOUSE by My Pizza — Restaurant in Alberta

2nd Visit: My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we had a great experience. I'd indicated it was a special occasion on the reservation, and that got us a nice thank you card and free cheesecake for dessert (which was great!). I had the fish and chips, which was cooked to perfection (their fries are excellent), and my wife had the baked lasagna which she loved. But nothing was better than the "Apple Pie on the Rocks" cocktail which she said was the best cocktail she'd ever had in her life. We'll be back!

1st Visit: We loved our first visit here a few days ago so much, we're coming back again already! The staff is fantastic, the ambiance is relaxing, and the food was excellent.

Our party had a mixture of dishes, including a smoked old fashioned drink, filet mignons, pepperoni pizza, chicken sandwich, and other things. Everyone was impressed with their food and drinks.

I had the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine, and it was flavorful and delicious, with just the right amount of spicy kick. Excellent garlic toast as well, only lightly spiced with garlic. I departed with some leftovers and it was even better the next day.

The Caramel Apple Crisp was amazing and is a must-try for dessert!

The other thing that impressed me was that all our food came out at the same time, and everything was hot and fresh. A lot of restaurants can't...

Was really looking forward to the "new" place and having an awesome new upscale restaurant to eat at in town for date night. Made reservations for 6pm on a Friday night the week before. We waited in line at 5 min to 6pm, 3 groups butted in line ahead of us to go let the people at the front desk know they had reservations, and to be seated first. The atmosphere was beautiful but our tables in the lounge left no privacy at all for convo. The food unfortunately was a 3 out of 10 at best. Cesar salad was like mayo on romaine (no garlic, no flavor). My fries were not cooked and my hubbies steak was blue rare when he asked for it medium. The owner was walking around talking to people, but never once payed attention to the little things like how his food was cooked or if people were happy with the product or not. Just wanted to fill seats for reservations and then get them out for the next set of reservations. I'm really disappointed too because this would have been our go to spot at least once a week, but we prob won't go back. Definately not worth the price you pay for what you get. A shame too because I am rooting for them. Hopefully it gets...

It was our first visit to My Pizza Steak House, but it certainly won't be the last. From the beginning walking in we were welcomed into this warm, cozy restaurant by the friendly staff.

Among us we ordered the spinach dip for an app, and I had the steak while my wife had lasagna and my son ordered a pizza. The waitress knew the menu well and answered all our questions.

All the food was amazing. The steak was one of the best I've had, a true value for the money. We were checked on regularly, our drinks were refilled before they ever ran out.

Then came dessert. Again we all got something different. My sticky toffee pudding was excellent. It was served with a vanilla ice cream, one of the best I'd had. Apparently they even make their own ice cream. My wife had the Mocha Ice Cream Pie and loved it, while my son really enjoyed his hot brownie with the same delicious ice cream.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, it's a little small maybe but you don't feel cramped. Everything is clean, including the washrooms which were spotless.

Would absolutely go again,...
