P & H Family Restaurants — Restaurant in Alberta

I wanted to find the best chinese restaurant in High River! I found PH chinese restaurant. No parking available during the day. Had to park a block away.

The restaurant was pretty clean. When I went to the rest room I had to walk through a set of curtains ( filthy looking curtains) that separate the front part of the restaurant from the back! The hallway was messy and cluttered! The bathroom itself was fairly clean but not spotless!

The waiter was good. He came with water and a menu right away! The menu was varied but I found quite high priced. And when I got my order I found the size was small compared to the high price!

I ordered an order if Chicken fried rice and Lemon chicken! The lemon chicken was good but the chicken fried rice was horrible! The chicken in the rice was so dried up I could hardly chew it! It wasn’t tasty at all!

The total bill for these two dishes and a can of Pepsi was over $32.00. I was thoroughly disappointed in both the price and the quality of the two dishes I ordered! I won’t be back to PH Chinese Restaurant...

A great dining experience. Food was fresh , tasty, well cooked and delivered reasonably quickly. We ordered a selection of meals to try different items. Shanghai noodles with prawns was fantastic ( not oily like in many places) vegetables with garlic , tasty crunchy veggies. Chicken with vegetables in pepper was really tasty. The star of the show was the curry prawns ( like a Thai style red curry - but delicious and full of vegetables/prawns). We'd highly recommend eating here. My son and I went here years ago when he was young. We ordered the Dinner for Two combo with intentions to bring some of the food home. The food came and it was brought over by the owner. He said he gave a smaller portion because my son was young. We were able to eat all the food and have none to bring home because yes the portions were very small. Expecting a lower price on the bill because of the “owners decision”, I was annoyed to see he charged us full price. That was my first and last...
