My suggestion is that if you are going to look around High River and especially the Heartland filming locations then this is a good place to start. Not sure if part of the museum but there is a cafe in an old railway carriage and we wished we'd seen it before going elsewhere. We went to High River because of the Heartland TV series but learnt so much more like that fact that the original Christopher Reeve Superman was filmed there and the really nice lady told me about Tin Star that I avidly watched when home and now put the TV series down as a classic. Kevin Costner, filmed, “Let Him Go”,Clint Eastwood, made an editing/“dailies review studio” out of the local playhouse, when he made “Unforgiven”. “Fargo”, of Netflix fame filmed here, as did the series “Tin Star”, which made the museum a police station setting.
