Stop Spot Drive-In Restaurant — Restaurant in Alberta

We stopped in the Stop Spot today for lunch. We thought because it was a local eatery the food would be alright. Nothing could be further from the truth. The burgers were frozen tasteless patties from a out of town meat processor. I had the swiss mushroom burger which arrived dripping with what I suspect was mushroom soup. The burger had zero flavour snf the pstty was grey in colour! Most things on the menu were cooked in a fryer, don't expect anything fresh. The bathroom was also dirty and disgusting, the bathroom door does not even lock. There really has not been much money re-invested...

We were heading home from a road trip when we decided to stop in Killam, Alberta for a quick bite—and we're so glad we did! The Stop Spot Drive-In turned out to be a fantastic choice. The donair burger and cheeseburger were flavorful and satisfying, and the crispy French fries hit the spot perfectly. First time trying the place, super charming restaraunt. Me and my husband both had the donair burger and we both agreed we haven't ever had a better one before, the burger buns taste homemade and there was also a beef patty on there with the donair meat, which was amazing. And don't forget their fries, so delicious. We highly recommend trying the place out if you like homecooked tasting food. We definitly can't wait to try more food in the future.
