The Vine Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Alberta

After spending a long day travelling, I was hungry and just wanted a nice, relaxing meal before going up to my room. Things started out okay but turned sideways once my food arrived. I ordered a full rack of ribs with fries and they were to come served with “seasonal vegetables”. I was so disappointed to receive my meal; The veggies had been seemingly “sauteed” in some kind of oil of which they were swimming in on my plate, coated in dill seasoning. Nasty. No one bothered coming by to see how everything was or if I needed anything. I thought I’d try some dessert so when a waitress finally came I ordered their brownie explosion. Ya...another disappointment that I waited more than 10 minutes for. When my waitress finally came by with the debit card machine THEN I was asked about my meal. I mentioned the veggies and she just stared at me and said she’d mention it. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience. Next time I’ll go to Burger Baron! Definitely would...

Top notch customer service and amazing food. We had steak and fish & chips yesterday. Steak was juicy and perfectly cooked. We loved it. Today we ordered a beef burger that came with bacon. We called the restaurant and asked them to change it to only beef burger as we don’t eat pork. They changed it without any hesitation. The chef came outside with our burgers and had added an extra beef patty in place of bacon. That’s the best example of how you take care of your customers. Super impressed with their service. Gone here twice food is amazing the first time on the restaurant side our waitress checked up on us many times the second time the bar side our waitress did not once check to see how we were. As a waitress myself for many years the one main thing that matters the most to me is the service.
