A nicely designed wooden hut right on the shore of Maligne Lake that serves sweet and savory waffles, ice cream, coffee and drinks. We experienced a few ups and downs: The savory waffle we ordered (Curly Phillips with smoked salmon, arugula, pickled onion, lemon and horseradish aioli) was delicious and was freshly baked after we ordered, but not exactly cheap (16 CND). Although the service was friendly, there was a queue because the screen with the menu changed pages too quickly, so it took longer to read the different options. This was hands down the best-cooked waffle I had ever tasted in my life - perfectly buttered with that light crisp on the outside, but with a soft cooked cakey inside... When i bit down on it, getting a bite with everything in it, the savory and sweet juices of heaven exploded in my mouth immediately. The affogato was also super tasty! Ice cream was the perfect texture for what they did... these people really know what they are doing... highly recommended for a foodgasm before/after the Maligne Lake Cruise tour to...
