I pass through PR for work monthly and have eaten vermicelli bowls in probably 50 restaurants and in multiple countries and have never had ice cold noodles. It was so cold my teeth were sensitive. I went and brought it to the front and they looked at me like I was crazy and continued to tell me I should’ve asked for warm noodles. I can get if you serve them room temperature, but it was like they just came from the freezer. The meat is the smallest portion I’ve ever seen and thin as paper, it looks like scraps. The flavor was sub par and price wasn’t horrible if the quality followed up. I don’t usually critique so bad but nothing about this experience was good short of the presentation. Had a side of chili chicken and they were literal grizzle scraps. Wondering if I just ordered the wrong things? After they brought out my food they continued to train me to ask for not near frozen noodles. First I’ve ever seen or heard and I probably have 5 reviews on here with 5 stars for vermicelli bowls. The staff were friendly, but would not come back.
Then I changed the rating from 2 to 1 after the washroom. Door and light switch hasn’t been cleaned in ages, no paper towel, and says not to flush TP. I just got back from Thailand and it wasn’t even as cheap there 🤯 The dish was probably 1$ to make and charged 16.50, the chicken grizzle was 9.50 and worth it if they weren’t deep fried bandaids. Probably the worst rating I’ve left in years. Being nice doesn’t mean you get a...
Read moreGreat ATM sphere. Nice range to menu, excellent service. Meat in the Mongolian beef I had has gone downhill. Perfectly edible but plenty of stringy connective tissue and it seemed like it had been beaten too much rendering it thin and kinda dry in the center with not hardly any beef flavour. The veggies were lovely and the rice cooked properly for chopstick use. Sadly the sauce was far too salty. Yes I know soya sauce, especially light soya sauce is salty but I tend to salty snacks but this was destroying the flavours in the dish. A polite notice taped to the front of each table's napkin dispenser indicated that tables are cleaned by customers. Whilst it is perfectly acceptable to have customers clear the tables in a quick dining establishment I hope the owner realises that if they fail to wipe down tables with a spray disinfectant after each use then no matter how 'clean' the table top may appear it is actually a prime breeding ground for microbes.
However this is not my first visit and it certainly won't be my last. I have an experienced eye for detail and mean feedback constructively. I shall be be bringing guests and friends with me too in the future and I hope others will too. WOW Grill is a real little gem and definitely...
Read moreI usually don't leave bad reviews as I try to support local businesses. When this business opened, I have been their loyal customer. When it was bought by another family, I continued to support even through COVID as they have kept the quality of food the same. In the last couple months, I've realized that the quality of food has declined, and it does not taste anywhere close as what they used to put out. Service was also lacking. After bringing our food, we were ignored for the rest of the meal. The beef bulgogi was mostly soggy cabbage and tastes horrible, could not even eat half of it. The sugar was overpowering the dish lacking balance. For other visits, I had bibimbap and Satay. Both tasted flat as well. I guess I was expecting more due to previous great experiences with the previous owners. At least the atmosphere mostly remained the same. Sorry, not planning to go back after a...
