On a hot summer afternoon, we visited The Art of Eating Deli in Amherst. It’s a small and cozy café with a colorful, fun atmosphere and a welcoming, inclusive vibe that makes it a nice spot to relax. The menu offers a good variety—fresh sandwiches, salads, cakes, cookies, coffee, and smoothies—something for everyone depending on what you’re in the mood for.

We ordered cheesecake and brownies. The brownies were rich and enjoyable, though the cheesecake wasn’t quite my taste, mostly because it had pineapple bits, which may not appeal to everyone. Still, it’s clear they put thought into creating different flavors.

One of the things I appreciated most is that they also cater to different dietary needs, with vegan-friendly, health-conscious, and even gluten-free options that don’t compromise on taste. It’s a place that tries to offer something for every type...

A nice, small, trendy restaurant with a good menu selection. However our waitress delivered our lunch and although mine was exactly what I ordered, my wife's wasn't quite correct, but we didn't realize that out until she started eating it. Shortly after, an employee whom we think may have been actually the owner came to our table and belittled us in front of other guests, blaming my wife for accepting someone else's lunch order. She was actually quite rude. If someone from the kitchen or serving staff made a mistake, it's never good business to put the blame on your customer. As a result, I know that we won't be back. Update: thank you for your response below. We all have those days and we understand as we used to own a restaurant and know how tiring it can be. It was big of you...

The food is fresh & tasty and very enjoyable. Had quiche and the house salad, both were SO good. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are TO DIE FOR, perhaps the best I have ever had. (I regret not buying more, lol.) The owner was lovely and kind, she even made fresh Nova Scotia oat cakes that I had been looking for to try. (These were very good too as expected - thank you again!!) But if you want her goodies best be ordering ahead, then you wont be disappointed :). It's worth the drive no matter where you're travelling to or from, its close to both Moncton and PEI. If I could give 10 stars I would, highly...
