The King Caesar Review is here! I am here to rate all the Caesar salads world wide … starting at my home in Vancouver. These rating will be heavily based on the Caesar salad it’s self, and not the other food I ordered. I have been eating Caesar salad’s for the past 20 years and thought it’s about time I get serious about these leafy greens covered in cream sauce. I hope your as excited as I am.

Egmont’s - sunshine coast Menu said kale Caesar however it was not kale. They used a tossed leafy green/ purple lettuce (which is great lettuce- kind questionable for Caesar’s’) however the point is it’s not what the menu says.

Dressing: creamy base, had a classic store bought sense - below average Garlic strength: can’t say i tasted much? Leaves: spring mix…/ mislabeled Croutons: very good, seemed homemade, garlic Cheese: excellent thick shreds of Parmesan, love to see and eat this kind Bacon: fresh , but too much for me Side of fresh bread yuummm

Now, that’s not to say I don’t like a spring mix caesar, but it was the incorrect lettuce where they lost points. $16 for a large, I got a side with my chicken burger (which was soooo good) and tried their beef burger which was really good as well. Generous helping of great fries. Asked for gravy multiple times, live band was great, however volume a little too loud for 2pm lunch.

Overall, it’s a cute and pub like atmosphere over looking the ocean with a beautiful view and patio. Would definitely...

A culinary experience worthy of a Michelin star.

Backeddy Pub delivers far beyond expectations. Every dish that leaves the kitchen feels like a work of art — beautifully presented, bursting with balanced flavors, and crafted with a level of care and precision that deserves true recognition. From the first bite to the last, the food speaks for itself: fresh, thoughtful, and masterfully executed.

The atmosphere complements the cuisine perfectly — relaxed yet refined — with a backdrop that quietly reminds you why British Columbia is so special. Hidden along the Sunshine Coast, this gem proves that world-class dining doesn’t need to be in a city; it can be found right here, where passion meets perfection.

A truly exceptional dining experience that belongs in the...

We (a bunch of people on motorbikes) stopped at the Backeddy Pub for lunch. The view of the ocean was beautiful. It was so relaxing and the food was great! Everyone enjoyed their meal and I must say that I had the Steelhead Tacos and highly recommend them- delicious! We were greeted by Peter, the owner, who directed us to shaded parking-so thoughtful! He was welcoming and genuine, asking about our trip and taking the time out of his busy day to chat with us about the property. He even came back to see if we enjoyed the meal and wish us safe travels! The food was great and Peter and his staff made the experience fantastic! We highly recommend this place.

I will definitely be back to stay at the gorgeous cabins...

Breathe in the fresh air coming down through Princess Louisa Inlet, while listening to local musicians (who are super talented), and drink in the gorgeous view. With a delicious meal. And a sweet cool beverage after hiking Skookumchuk! A+ on the fish and chips. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and we ordered two pieces of fish to share - but holy hell, one piece will do ya. Chowder was smoky and creamy (not too creamy), loaded with salmon and other seafood. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor picnic bench area. Yay. The Backeddy is a gem 💎
