Poor management! They did not put two key ingredients in our food while they knew they ran out, but they still charged us the regular amount without being honest about it. Later, we complained about it after we found out that some of the ingredients were missing in our food, and the response was that we should have let them know right away so that they could fix it then. Instead of owning up to their mistake and being professional about it, they blamed us. What we ordered was salad, not an open sandwich. Later, the manager came over to our table to apologize, but it was pretty cheeky. Not professional at all! My husband and I have been going to this place for breakfast sandwiches and baked goods frequently since we have lived here and they have always been exceptional value and quality! One day when I was in I noticed the baker preparing a beautiful simple cake that I knew would be perfect for our small at home wedding. We ordered catering from Ground Up and loved the whole experience from end to end! Our order was pretty last minute and Becky was super accommodating and helpful in providing recommendations. We had: pakoras with mango chutney, spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce, veggies with hummus, a fruit platter, chicken skewers with peanut sauce, Greek salad, curry rice, 1 meat quiche, 1 veggie quiche plus an assortment of cookies and cakes.
