Halibut, chips and coleslaw were good. Fried clams were better than good, they were great - but not necessarily always available. Intended to get a second order of clams, while we were there in June, waiting for the ferry, but they had run out by then and had taken the board advertising clams back inside.
If the ferry has just left but you didn't make it on that sailing, are still in line somewhere up the hill that descends toward the ferry dock, and you're a passenger in a vehicle, you have time to walk down to the dock and order food from here. It's just steps away from the ferry vehicle...

Prices are more than fair and helpings plentiful. Without question 5 stars and the broth was to die for. I took back left over broth to our Guesthouse and made up yet another fabulous seafood chowder with the clams and oysters I collected on the beach at Mansons landing. Read moreCoveside offers delicious, fresh and filling food. The oyster burger is to die for. If you’re feeling like fries… dare to dive into a mouth watering crab bisque poutine. Fresh fish tacos 🌮 are also a personal favourite. Keep an eye out for their ever changing fresh weekly menu.
Word of advice, if you’re waiting for a ferry ⛴️ (or expect to) call ahead!!! The staff are amazing & mighty (but small in numbers)
