Tucked away in the quiet beauty of Christina Lake; this is one of the most unforgettable food experiences I’ve had: a humble Palestinian food truck serving up authentic, soul-satisfying cuisine. As a vegetarian, I’m constantly on the lookout for great falafel — and this was hands down the best falafel I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and made with real care.

Othman, who is the owner, was incredibly warm and generous, even taking time to read a heartfelt excerpt from his book, The Imprisoned Blogger. He also gave us a sample of pickled wild cucumber which was delicious! What was a casual stop, turned into something truly meaningful — a rare mix of amazing food and powerful storytelling. 🍉

Usually when a place is rated a full 5 stars on google, I am suspicious. No one can nail it every single time. But having eaten here I understand. The owner is a great guy with a big personality and makes you feel right at home. He claims that his falafel is the best someone can find, and I love that. --for me personally, just getting back from a month in Egypt, I found my falafel to not pack the flavor that the best I ate while there had.-- That being said, this was awesome food served by a fun and joyful guy in a great setting....
