I got the Korean bowl, my mom got the terriaki bowl and my little brother got the macaroni wedges and a ceaser salad. The Korean and terriaki bowl were both dry, Luke warm and unflavored. No sauce and the rice was precooked and stuck together via starch scrapped from the bottom of the rice cooker. The chicken in both were seasoned lightly and not saucy, it had the liking of if the chicken was literally dabbed dry with a paper towel. In my Korean bowl the vegetables were all raw (not sure if that's normal in a Korean dish but none the less both the the dishes were overpriced and too small.).. the macaroni wedges were luke warm as well. the salad was coated lightly and had only a few croutons. Our drinks were all served in cans which I assume is to save the dishwasher some time but even with that extra time the cutlery ended up greasy when we took them out of the napkins. The server on Saturday night was quite unsavory much like the food, seemed like she was having a bad day because she treated the customer like we were wasting her time. I asked for new cutlery and with no exchange of words or a glance took the cutlery and replaced it like it's routine at this establishment. I have no intention to drag or badmouth the fork in the road. The owners are good people and the chef was the only kind worker that day, he knew how to talk to the customer and was very accommodating but was inturupted by the server who stated that the food was burning instead of kindly delegating him back to the kitchen to continue cooking instead of doing her job. I could assume that they accidentally switched jobs that day because if anything the cook should be a server and the server should be the cook because I bet they can do eachothers jobs better than their own. I don't find enjoyment in saying these things but if these things are not said no change can actually happen. I see only good reviews from 6 months ago but I feel that was when the business was ran out of a bus and when they served tacos and burgers etc. If they served simple food like before I feel I would have had a much more satisfying experiance. I think there is potential location wise but the ducks don't seem very organized at all let alone in a row. The photo of the food was taken after I already ate 2 thirds of the food but I thought it was a good idea to show quality of the veggies and rice etc. My main quip was with the veggies being uncooked and the rice being precooked and dry.

Epic hand pressed burgers! Was passing through town on my way to osoyoos, had been looking for food for the past 2 hours. Eventually found this place and on Google it said they were closed. Luckily we saw the open sign and had to try this place. Both burgers were epic! Both with hand pressed double patties. Chili cheese fries were incredible! But those brisket tacos were on another level... Highly recommend this place if your looking for some epic eats! Thank you for the experience, will definitely be back!

We stayed at the motel and we were so excited to find out they had a food truck (more like a bus) on the property! We had a Cuban sandwich (the bread was perfect the pulled pork inside was juicey) , poutine and chicken strip (the chicken was so fresh with white meat it was so juicy and the coating was flavourful and super crispy)we had one pork carnita and one brisket taco ..our family of 4 shared everything for under 60 bucks ...we will be going back to try there burgers and get more chicken strips and fries.

My kids and I just finished a short stay in Christina Lake, and I think what they will miss the most is this restaurant! We were not sure where to eat on day 1, and this place was 2 minutes away so we decided to give it a try. The food was AMAZING, I had the beef dip and let me tell you it was heavenly. We came at am obviously busy time, but we still had friendly service and our food was ready speedy quick. My kids are also AuDHD and have a lot of food sensitivities, which they accomodated without question every time. We liked it so much, we ended up going back every night of our trip! The brisket bowl was also just as heavenly, and I had my brother drive out and made him try the magical beef dip as well! We joked about whether I could make a round trip from home in a day just for the beef dip 😅😅 Amazing place, we will be...
