Rob's Lighthouse Eatery — Restaurant in Area D (Cowichan Bay)

We first ate here back in 2017 or so and had it on our food bucket list for our latest visit to Van Island. Happy to report that the beef burger was even better than I remember, bursting with flavour and juicyness (I didn't add cheese or bacon). Couldn't help but order the chips / fries as well which come with malt vinegar servings (the way they should). This establishment focuses on the quality ingredients and preparation while keeping the rest simple and practical. A friendly service, short wait for the food and there is minimal waste product. Get here before they close at 2pm to avoid...

Just had my 1st wrap there today and was honestly shocked at the taste and the quality! The chicken was tender and fresh and the fries were delicious and fresh cut and the price was super reasonable. The guy that made the wrap (probably Rob I suppose) was super friendly and I could tell that he cared about his product. I've lived in the Valley for 35yrs and even lived in Cowichan Bay for a few years and did not even know this place existed. Another Gem that I can tell my clients about - yahoooooo!!! Man do I love...

The food here is above average and the price is very reasonable. I enjoyed the chicken and Brie focaccia sandwich for only $7 dollars. The following day I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich for $6 dollars. The third day I had the breakfast wrap, which was the only poor meal I received here.
