I purchased a loaf at Chan's Market, Ocean Park, and I'm glad I did! Actual real bread, that tastes great and that doesn't give me or my family the issues that regular "fortified" and additive filled bread does. We're now only going to buy this! We used to eat bread every day in Europe and now we can again!

Best bakery in BC's Interior and a must stop for me, when passing through Lac La Hache. The Munich Sourdough bread is my favourite and the baked treats like the delicious "Mandelhoernchen" are to die for. I've been a customer for 30 years and will continue as long as this place stays in business.

Have purchased this bread (when available) at a local market but have always wanted to visit the bakery in person. Finally made it here while in the area on holiday. Purchased a fresh sourdough round and a fruit and cream cheese danish. Both were delicious! Hope to return again one day.

We heard about this place quite some time ago and at long last our travels took us through Lac La Hache on a day this bakery was open. Walked through the door for the first time & instantly knew we’d discovered a gem! So many choices; too many to try so we settled on a Bratzle, a cheese & onion scone and a walnut cream danish. As we enjoyed each of these amazing treats I was already disappointed that our return trip home would take us through town on a day the bakery is closed. Take a moment to stop here - you won’t be...

Great product offerings if you can get your hands on them. This business is always closed, only open weekdays from 8-6 if all stars align. You can’t depend on this business when they close shop at every single opportunity to do so. This is a bakery selling goods to consumers who typically work jobs thus staying open until 9pm 7 days a week is absolutely reasonable. Staff seem burnt out and resentful - there should be multiple crews working per day to help...

Cannot recommend it enough to MAKE SURE you stop in here as you pass through Lac La Hache. I would drive from Vancouver just for the selection of tucked away fresh baked euro goods at this spot. The selection was greater than normal i think this day and was absolutely delighted to dig into my pretzels, and I chose a walnut iced cinnamon bun sort of desert. SO moist, fresh, and not overly sweet. Made a great camping breakfast! ...
