Location and atmosphere were nice. People working there were friendly, but a little too casual with the service. Had a series of strange interactions with the staff where I got the feeling they were inexperienced or incompetent.
No beer, which is fine, but it’s a Friday during peak season so that was disappointing. All out of canned cocktails too. Ok, I go with the wine. It comes in a plastic cup you get at a water cooler. I will travel back to Canada from Australia just to make my way to this cafe for another one, even if I go for no other reason, and that’s no exaggeration. There were loads of other pastries and muffins and sandwiches and hot dishes to pick from too.
