A&W Canada — Restaurant in Arm River No. 252

Was somehow charged C$10.52 for my C$8.67 "Nashville Chicken Cruncher". 🙄 Guess that's partly on me for not paying closer attention to the debit pad. Realized when I was half an hour down the road, couldn't go back.

The sandwich itself was tiny! I was honestly going to get the Spicy PiriPiri Buddy, that's what drew me in, but I saw the higher price of the Nashville Cruncher and thought it would be significantly bigger... I gotta tell ya, I'm not going back for the buddy, because if the size of the filet on the more expensive sandwich is any indication, the one on the Buddy is likely the size of a dang chicken nugget!

The sauce they drizzle on the chicken was good; but the pickles were few, the bun was pretty Wonderbread, and overall I couldn't recommend it to anyone, especially for the price point!

A&W - I don't know if y'all actually read these, but you guys are even worse than McDonald's for shrinkflation and price gouging. I might go back some time to grab a Teen Burger if I'm in the mood, but I gotta tell ya, if that is suddenly unimpressive too, after decades of being a bastion of good burgers, I'm not sure I'll ever spend money there again.

Don't let maximum profit be the enemy of customer satisfaction, or people will never eat out. I'm eating at A&W, so I'm already willing to spend a little more money for good quality, but if I start to feel like that tacit agreement shifts to a bad faith one on the side of the vendor... I'm going somewhere else pretty...

We just stopped in for a quick snack on our way to Regina for a family emergency, was looking forward to their food! Definitely should've went to D&Q or Tim Hortons instead. Never going to come here again. Servers were rude, the atmosphere was unpleasant. The music was raunchy and made us up and leave after getting our food because there was children in the restaurant, that's horrible. My two sausage & bacon Eggers were missing the bacon, my fiancee went to rectify it. In this economy? If I paid for bacon, it better be on my sandwiches. I'm not kidding, that is expensive to add-on at A&W. The lady refused to remake them, fiancee was politely asking them to fix it. She finally offered flippantly to give us four pieces of bacon in a doggy bag after putting up a fight. Now, I used to work at two different A&W locations that were just as busy as this one so I am utterly pissed off at this location because I know how it's supposed to be handled when a customer has an issue with their meal. And the way it was handled here was pathetic. My fiancee got frustrated just to come out to find his onion rings were overcooked. Onions were thin and obviously old, breading was overseasoned (and I enjoy some extra seasoning but come on.) and just.. gross. Only good thing about this was the Nashville Chubby Chicken was good and their bathrooms are clean. Thanks...

Davidson a&w. Ordered 2 buddy burgers in the morning 9am . Special ordered with no mayo. It was early and they didn't have grilled onions ready yet and asked if I wanted to wait 5 - 10 min. I said okay. Drove away with the order and found out later that they put mayo on it and the onions I waited so long for ... they did not even put on the burgers. phoned back and no answer for 2 hours. No answer. Got ahold of Muhammad late afternoon you went to look up the order and because his staff did not give me a receipt at all he had to manually look up every order and seemed to blame me for not being given a receipt!!!! No refund just an exact replacement of the two burgers. When I asked about maybe a extra fries for the inconvenience etc He got upset and said NO. Just replace burgers. And I'll have to drive back an hour and a half to pick them up if I ever want. Well I guess customer service is something they were not trained...
